Openreach Industrial Action

| On 30th June, BT / Openreach workers voted in favour of strikes in a dispute over pay with members of the Communication Workers Union (CWU) at BT and Openreach overwhelmingly backing industrial action. Strike action is due to take place on 29th July and 1st August. During any industrial action, Openreach will prioritise repairs over the provision (activation) of new orders, and therefore it is likely there will be a backlog in activations resulting in longer lead times.” |
