Mear Technology offer a range of support contracts that suit most small business needs. These packages start from as low as £40 per month for a level 1 support contract. Mear Technology support packages come in three flavours.

Green support is the entry package. It provides customers with:

  • 30 Day rolling contract
  • SLA (Service Level Agreement)
  • Proactive monitoring of core servers*
  • 2 inclusive Support Units per month

Amber support is better suited companies with at least one server. It provides customers with:

  • 30 Day rolling contract
  • SLA (Service Level Agreement)
  • Proactive monitoring of core servers
  • 2 inclusive Support Units per month
  • Proactive maintenance of core servers*.
  • Proactive maintenance of core network*.
  • Inclusive Reactive support for core network and core services**.

Blue Support is designed for customers that don't wish to have variable support charges. It provides customers with:

  • 30 Day rolling contract
  • SLA (Service Level Agreement)
  • Proactive monitoring of core servers*
  • Proactive monitoring of core network*
  • Proactive maintenance of core servers*.
  • Inclusive Reactive support for core network and core services*.
  • Inclusive Remote Desktop support **

 From £285 per month†

†Examples of support contracts are based on supporting 1 server and 10 Pc's
* Core servers and networking are servers and networking hardware identified as critical to the clients operations. Servers will be identified and documented in the clients support agreement.
** Inclusive support will be detailed in the support proposal provided to the client. Any non-inclusive support will be paid against support units that can be purchased at any time.

Additional Services

Ad-hoc is designed for customer without an existing support contract, or for those clients without the need for SLA. It provides clients with:


  • Support either on-site or Remote charged at our hourly rate of £75 per hour.

How it works! An engineer will spend the first hour trying to resolve the issue. After an hour the engineer will agree a maximum charge to complete the required work. This will be in addition to the initial hour's charge.

Support Units if purchasing the Green or Amber support contract it is also necessary to purchase Support Units. For Desktop support


Support units are available in top-up packs

  • 10 Support Units - £175.00
  • 25 Support Units - £425.00
  • 50 Support Units - £825.00
  • 100 Support Units - £1,600.00
